MISSION STATEMENT
<p>Educating the human person is central to the Church’s mission of evangelisation. Catholic universities are not just important centres for learning but equally of integral growth. This is because Catholic education integrates faith with reason aiming for the holistic development of the human person. It goes beyond skills acquisition to the fuller development of the person. SAHIK will ignite the passion for excellence: empowering minds for greatness where creativity and innovation will shape destinies. In Sahik moral values will be upheld and intellectual rigour will be worn like armour.</p>
VISION STATEMENT
<p><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">It has been proven over and over that most students graduate from high schools with so many uncertainties as to their career paths or choices. Most are swayed away to take up courses with little or no passion by their friends; others are talked into it by their parents or guardians. What is worse is the fact that this tendency drags throughout their tertiary study and they finally end up as credential-seekers with little or no passion or curiosity for their field of study.</span></p> <p><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">SAHIK seeks to change this trajectory; growing young minds and hearts on the principles of passion, innovation and professionalism. Innovation is central to its university vision because it prepares students for a dynamic workplace providing them opportunities to develop skills such as creativity, adaptability and resilience especially in today’s world where the job market is so volatile. In today’s education, innovation has become the leverage for a better tomorrow. SAHIK identifies in each student a career pathway which is rooted in capacity intake, knowledge and above all intuitive passion. These are developed on the grown into professionals with skills that innovate and transform.
